We want to welcome Donna B. Wilson, APRN, FNP-C, to Occupational & Integrative Medicine (OIM), LLC. Donna brings exceptional quality of care to the Lafayette community with her experience in Occupational and Integrative Medicine. 

Her background as a nurse practitioner includes experience in urgent care, primary care, hospital settings, and wellness.
Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Donna worked as a licensed massage therapist for eight years in Terrebonne, Lafourche, and St. Mary Parishes. Her love for healing led her to enroll in the baccalaureate nursing program at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA. She began her nursing career at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, where she gained expertise working in the intensive care, step-down, and cardiac rehabilitation units. After four years of providing bedside care as a registered nurse, she enrolled at Simmons University in Boston, MA, where she earned a Master of Science degree in nursing in 2018. 

As an advanced practice registered nurse, she has had the privilege of providing care to patients in multiple parishes throughout the state.
Donna has served on her professional organizations’ executive board as Treasurer for the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners (LANP) and as a committee member for the Louisiana Nursing Workforce Entry Synergy Summit. She also served as the Regional Representative for the Houma Region of LANP and the Louisiana Nurse Practitioner Foundation (LNPF) fundraiser coordinator in 2019. Donna is excited to start her new journey with OIM and looks forward to promoting health and wellness to the nearby industries, as well as the residents of Lafayette and surrounding areas.
