Physicals

DOT & Non-DOT Physical – DOT physicals evaluate the physical fitness of individuals in safety-sensitive transportation roles according to Department of Transportation regulations, while non-DOT physicals are general medical evaluations conducted outside of DOT regulations. 

Pre & Post Employment Physical – These types of physicals assess a candidate’s fitness for a specific job before employment, while post-employment physicals monitor the ongoing health and well-being of employees during their tenure.

Annual Physical – This is a routine medical examination conducted once a year to assess an individual’s overall health status, identify any potential health concerns, and provide preventive care recommendations.

Fit for Duty – A Fit-for-Duty evaluation is a medical assessment conducted to determine if an employee is physically and mentally capable of safely perfomring their job responsibilities.

Return to Work – This physical is a medical evaluation conducted to assess an employee’s fitness to resume work duties after an illness, injury, or extended absence.

OGUK – An OGUK Physical is a medical examination conducted to assess the health and fitness of individuals working in the offshore oil and gas industry according to the standards set by the Oil and Gas UK (OGUK) organization.

Labs and Imaging

Audio – Audio testing in healthcare typically involves diagnostic procedures to assess the auditory system’s function, such as audiometry, tympanometry, and otoacoustic emissions testing, aiding in the diagnosis and management of hearing disorders and conditions. 

Visual – This is aimed at assessing the health and function of the visual system, including visual acuity testing, tonometry, ophthalmoscopy, and visual field testing, to diagnose and manage eye conditions and disease.

Respiratory Fit – This test assesses the effectiveness of a respirator’s seal to the wearer’s face, ensuring proper protection against airborne contaminants in occupational settings.

Blood Labs – Blood Labs analyze various components of blood, including red and white blood cells, platelets, and biochemical markers, to assess overall health, diagnose medical conditions, and monitor treatment, response.

X-rays – This is a medical imaging technique that uses electromagnetic radiation to produce images of the internal structures of the body, aiding in the diagnosis of various conditions and injuries.

EKG – This is a diagnostic test that records the electrical activity of the heart over a period of time, typically used to detect and analyze heart abnormalities.

Drug & Alcohol Testing – This involves screening individuals for the presence of substances. This can be before they are hired, periodically, or random after hiring to ensure ongoing compliance with workplace substance abuse policies and safety regulations. 

Additional Services

Telemedicine – This is a remote healthcare consultation conducted via telecommunications technology, allowing patients to receive medical advice, diagnosis, and treatment from a healthcare provider without needing to visit a physical clinic or hospital. 

(PCP) Primary Care – In this setting, patients can expect a comprehensive evaluation of their overall health & wellness via shared decision making alongside the provider. Donna Wilson, FNPC-APRN, will provide a continuum of individualized ongoing care, diagnoses, and treatment plans as needed.

After Hours on Call – Donna Wilson, APN is available to respond to urgent medical issues or emergencies outside of regular office hours, providing continuous care and support to patients. 

Urgent Visits – This is a medical appointment scheduled for immediate attention to address acute healthcare needs or concerns that require prompt evaluation and treatment by a healthcare provider.
